Road Work Update
The first phase of the Ridgebury Road Improvement Project kicks off Thursday, March 26, and will continue for several weeks. This initial phase includes drainage upgrades along Saw Mill Road and Ridgebury Road, from the Danbury line to Keeler Drive. Minor delays can be expected between 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., with occasional one-lane alternating traffic. Please stay tuned for updates, including the upcoming paving schedule.
This is a multi-year project that will progress in phases focusing on improving roadway conditions and stormwater management along the corridor.

Our Highway Department is officially on pothole patrol with two dedicated crews working daily on repairs. Next up - curbs! The crews will clear debris and assess damaged curbs over the next few weeks.
It’s a tough time of year for our roads. The freeze-thaw cycle of melting snow and shifting temperatures creates a constant battle against potholes for our Highway Department. We appreciate your patience as they work to keep our roads safe for everyone.
