The Highway Department is responsible for the maintenance and repair of Town roads.  Road maintenance includes pavement repairs, road resurfacing, snow and ice control, street sweeping, catch basin cleaning, road side mowing, drainage repair and installation, street signs and guardrails.  Highway is also responsible for the issue of driveway and street excavation permits.
